Forklift Operator
At Laredo BSL Inc. we are looking for a Forklift Operator with experience in warehouse operations, safe material handling, and loading and unloading goods.
We are looking for a responsible, safety-oriented and teamwork-oriented person capable of operating forklifts efficiently to support storage operations, shipments, receipts and internal movements of goods, complying with the company's safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in safely operating forklifts.
- Ability to load, unload, accommodate, and move goods efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety practices for the operation of material handling equipment.
- Experience in warehouse operations, receipts, shipments and basic inventory control.
- Ability to perform daily forklift inspections and identify conditions that require maintenance or repair.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Ability to follow operating procedures, safety policies, and work instructions.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain effective communication.
- Experience operating different forklift attachments, in addition to conventional blades, such as pole attachments, paper roll clamps, carton clamps, roll clamps, reach attachments or other specialized accessories, will be highly preferred and considered an important added value.
- Occasional availability to work after 6:00 p.m. and/or on Saturday mornings will be considered an important added value.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- 1 hour lunch break
- The usual schedule is daytime; however, additional hours may occasionally be required after regular hours or on Saturday mornings, depending on operational needs.
